Morphological Characteristics

Delosperma echinatum is a quirky and charming succulent known for its cylindrical, pickle-shaped leaves covered in soft, white bristly hairs. These bristles give the leaves a fuzzy or spiny look—hence the common name “Pickle Plant.”

The leaves are light green, thick, and water-storing, growing opposite each other along creeping or arching stems.
